Dag Lillo,

  *   Indien installatie mislukt: laat hen contact opnemen met de helpdesk van HBplus aub. Ze mogen mij altijd in cc zetten zodat ik mee kan volgen en ev. kan escaleren naar wijzigingsbeheer indien algemeen probleem (maar normaal gezien zal de helpdesk van HBplus dit uiteraard ook doen als ze tickets hierover binnen krijgen)
  *   Gebruikers die installatie hebben stopgezet: ze kunnen ev eens checken in Software Center als pakket bovenaan staat (dus remove KB en niet KB zelf) zodat ze het op die manier kunnen installeren. Normaal gezien kun je tot 3 x uitstellen en wordt het pakket wel opnieuw aangeboden.  Zoniet kunnen ze de helpdesk van HBplus contacteren.

Geert en collega’s,

Ik krijg ondertussen van een aantal collega’s de melding dat er tijdens de installatie iets fout was gelopen en dat het installatiescherm verdween.
Ook een tweetal die de installatie hebben stopgezet omdat “Remove” verscheen.

Dus hopelijk verschijnt die pop-up nog eens.

Veel gebruikers krijgen vandaag onderstaande melding.

Dit installatiepakket dient om de patching van bovenvermeld KB weg te halen. HBplus heeft immers gemerkt dat veel collega’s problemen ondervinden na bovenvermelde patching.
Dus HBplus heeft de patching stopgezet en de workaround geactiveerd todat deze overal terug weg is.

Dit installatiepakket dienen gebruikers dus zeker te installeren!
Niet alle gebruikers zullen deze melding krijgen. Enkel de gebruikers waarbij de patching reeds was gebeurd zullen de vraag krijgen om deze installatie uit te voeren.
